How to join

In order to join for AMIE, a candidate shall first get membership with the Institution. Only members are eligible to apply for Institution examination. The memebrship is given on the basis of your educational qualification.

        There are two categories of student membership

1. Senior Technician (ST) membership, and

2. Technician (T) membership.

      Hence, if you passed Engg. Diploma or equivalent, then apply for ST membership, and

      if you have passed +2 or equivalent, then apply for T membership.

     3.The cost of memebrship form is Rs375/- to get in person.

     4. To get the form by post, write to the Secretary and Director General, sending a DD of Rs425/- drawn in favour of ‘Institution of Engineers (India)’ and payable at Kolkota.

                     Registration Fee

   The membership registration fee is Rs 4800/-, in India.
